Office and delegation
KT employs about 70 persons and its power of decision is exercised by its board and divisons.
The office of Local Government and County Employers KT consists of experts in their respective fields:
- Communications, customer relations and training
- General employment relationship issues
- Employment relationships in social and health care services and early childhood education and care
- Employment relationships in education and cultural services
- Labour market research
- Human resources development
- Management.
The office is managed by Managing Director Markku Jalonen.
Board and Divisions of Local Government and County Employers KT
The Board of Directors represents all member organisations, and it consists of 15 members and their personal deputy members.
The Board manages and coordinates the activities and finances of KT and its activities as a central organisation.
There are three divisions representing municipal section, wellbeing services county section and business sections.
The Ministry of Finance appoints the members of the municipal and wellbeing services county section divisions taking into account the balance of political parties in local elections.
